Chapter 5 was by far the most interesting and fascinating chapter I have read. I have not ever learned so much about the human head. None of these nerves, muscles or how the human head was created was ever mentioned in any previous Biology classes I've taken. Despite the chapter being interesting and fascinating, it was a bit difficult to read because it was hard to keep up with Shubin explaining the development of the skull. I'm sure if I take the time to read it again, I will more clearly understand. I was also amazed when Shubin told us about the connection between the Amphioxus, an invertebrate, and humans, a vertebrate.
