Shubin never fails to tell us about the importance of our body parts. I agree with Francine, our head is so complex how can Shubin find the head simple and easy? Once he started separating the head into smaller categories it became simpler. It’s amazing how a single nerve can numb a part of your body, like when I went to the dentist when I was little and they numbed my mouth so that they can pull out my teeth. The fact that we look similar to sharks when we are growing in our mother’s belly is really interesting. Thank you Shubin for putting in diagrams otherwise I would not understand any part of this chapter.
