The second chapter of Your Inner Fish was not was interesting as the first chapter. The first couple pages of the second chapter summarized the facts that many animals have similar hands to humans. I already had learned this from taking a Biology class in the past. Therefore, this just bored me. Soon, the second chapter became really interesting when Shubin started to discover that the Tiktaalik had similar hands and wrists as to a human. Then, I was blown away when Shubin said, "Tiktaalik was able to 'drop us and give us twenty.'(40)"

I agree with you Suraj, this chapter wasn't as good as the first, because of the fact that we already knew about what he was talking about. The good thing was that he didn't keep it that way for long, but still, it was a little slow-paced.
