After reading "Getting a Grip" I can somewhat predict what the rest of the book is going to talk about, as we find that much, much more things are originated from the "Tiktallik". The beginning of the chapter definently caught my attention as Shubin explains his experience of disecting a real human. I personally am horrified of touching organs and muscle that once provided the person the ability to walk, talk, do pushups, and just live. This also emplies that to be an archeologist, you must be experienced in many more things. In the first couple of pages, he gives us an idea of what the chapter is going to be, which was explaining how we originated by a special creature that was able to do push-ups. Using diagrams, Shubin shows us how Humans, reptiles, and birds have the same structure, which shows how not only humans, but everything originated from the "Tiktallik". I also chuckled when he mentioned the fish doing push-ups because a few moments later after reading that line, i see a lizard in my back yard doing push-ups. This was an intriguing chapter, and i predict that the next few chapters will further add insight on how we originated from fish
