Getting a grip

The beginning of this chapter didn't really get to me. I mean, I didn't really want to know about cutting up a cadaver. And I got confused how it related. And I get even more confused as to how he could have feelings and find a relationship between him and a cadaver's Hand. What I found really interesting is how the hand is connected to other animals. Especially by a simple pattern such as 1,2,lotsa,digits. This really helped emphasize my thoughts on how we originate from another creature. This chapter helped me understand that our transition from water to land is really important.
