Ch. 6

It is interesting to note in chapter 6, how all of the embryos start out looking very similar. It is only when the cells start specializing that they turn into different animals including humans. When Shubin was discussing the mutant flies, I kept thinking about all of these awesome horror movies that could be made. :) The experimentation by Mangold was fascinating in that she could graft such a tiny piece from one embryo to another without the use of machanics.
