Chapter Seven

While I was reading this section about unicellular and multicellular organisms, a question had popped out in my mind, “is unicellular organism a good characteristic to survive in the environment or it is bad? How about multicelluar organism” Most people think that a unicellular organism is too simple to live in the world and consider it as a bad character, but in my opinion, both of them get a good and bad side for the environment. Even though unicellular organisms are in a low level of this environment, but they can survive in a harsh condition, which most of the multicellular organisms can not make it. The only organisms appeared on the earth were the unicellular organisms during the early stage of the earth. The multicellular organisms were not even exist during that time. Therefore, the unicellular organisms must have lived longer than the multicellular organisms. On the other hand, the unicellular organisms can only develop basic organs, but multicellular organism can develop much different kind of organs. So multicellular organism can do much more detail work.

In the previous chapter, it mentioned about those embryos were look very similar, but they had came out differently, so I thought they must had the same ancestors. Back to this chapter, the author had explained to us that multicellular organisms had come from unicellular organisms. Unicellular organisms had become multicellular organisms by the process of combing different unicellular organism together. So this had proven my hypothesis mentioned in last comment, that all of the organisms had the same ancestors.
