Ch. 7

I am glad that I am not a student of Shubin's. Learning to identify organs by looking at random slides would be a drag. I had a hard enough time with the pig disection test freshman year. It was interesting to read the description of the microscopic view of a slice of the femur because I have broken mine. :) haha. It was cool because I had seen the x rays of my leg but this gave me a different perspective of it. Just reading this section gave me insight into how my bone actually healed. I would never have thought that an organism with only 4 types of cells would have a body. These 4 cells are obviously highly specialized
