This chapter was pretty interesting in comparison to the last chapter which was also interesting, but I found chapter 7 more easier to understand. Shubin began the chapter with looking at a cell embryo and how it is formed. This beginning introduction sounded interesting the way Shunin explained how an embryo forms in to clusters of cells which form the human body, and also how every little bump matters. It was fascinating how our bodies form without any directions or blueprints. Shubin explains that every cell has pretty much a job, it needs to know when and where to grow, and if the cell exceeds its growth it can turn in a dangerous cancer cells. One thing I found interesting in this chapter that a wart was cells that over grew inside of our skin. Shubin starts to discuss how our body moves and he compared the structure to an cemented brick home which made it easier to understand what he was talking about. Towards the end Shubin talks about the blob which is created from a single cell and there on formed into a cluster of cells, which i found fascinating. Overall, this chapter was not hard to understand but pretty flexible.
