Ch. 1

You don't realize how much the Earth has changed until you find out that Greenland was once a tropical paradise and that parts of Pennyslvannia had mountains that ended into a sea. Today, Greenland is an artic desert and Pennyslvannia is flat and dry. Technology, as in other aspects of daily life, have made searching for fossils an easier prospect. I would prefer to be able to not have to go to the artic desert. Finding good fossils is like looking for a needle in a hay stack, almost impossible.
