teeth teeth teeth...hmmm. well first of all, i love it more when Shubin narrates the story in a journal/1st person format. it makes the reading more pleasant and enjoyable for the readers who has no experience of the event or knowledge, especially since the past chapters has kinda been informative, didactic, and insipid. from his experience, it seems that his job as an archeologist is mind-numbing and tedious. it seems that you have to be very lucky in order to be successful in searching for fossils and other elements, definitely not a job suitable for me. :/ the one thing i don't understand is that if he is able to discover loads of unknown knowledge, fossils, and discovery, then why isn't he super famous or rich. unless he's super rich and famous in the science world so someone like me would have never known. mmmm...yup, that could be it.... buy yea, teeth. this chapter was interesting as far has his narration and story goes. as to his explanation of the functions of teeth, it is pretty much self explanatory. this chapter was pretty interesting overall.
