Ch.7: Adventures in bodybuilding

I enjoyed this chapter because it actually explained how bodies were formed from basically nothing. It's really amazing how cells are able to communicate with each other and create a body on their own. I found the stuff about what makes our body able to move as it does very interesting. I couldn't believe how many little things were involved to form a slightly bigger little thing such as cartilage. The part about the sponge was also interesting because although it is something not considered anything like other creatures, it still has many similar properties. For instance, sponges also have cells that communicate. This chapter had a lot of information to take in and also a ton of molecules, materials, cells, and so on that I kept flipping back to see what they are and what they do. It's amazing how one perfect moment provided the environment for the cells to make use of their body building tools.
