chapter 7

one thing i didn't know as i started reading this chapter was a weird but interesting term for me called proteoglycan which are proteins that are heavily glycosylated. this chapter tends to go on just like the previous one about how the body structures itself and how it functions. I also reviewed some things from the past like how bones consist of hydroxyapatite, collagen, and other molecules. cells and molecules stick together to form molecular rivets. these rivets allow like cells to connect with each other and communicate.cartilage forms between our joints to create a smooth movement. this chapter was half way interesting and more of a review for me.
