Chapter 11: The Meaning It All

This chapter was great. Wrapping up everything he mentioned in previous chapters, Shubin put together everything and explained all functions in a summary.

I liked Shubin's law: "every living thing on the planet has planets" (174). But frankly I would hope so, otherwise we'd have aliens on our hands! I also enjoyed Shubin's analysis on tracing our historic ancestors to... a jellyfish?! This book just gets better and better. It was a pleasure to read this book, and it corrected many of my misinformed views. Thanks Neil Shubin.

Final Blog.
