Ch.7

The beginning of this chapter didn't really give me much new information that i havent learned in my first year of biology in high school. We always stay the same person the day that we are born but the cells that make the outside of our body continually die off and replace themselves with brand new cells that function the exact same way as the ones before. I found it interesting how Neil Shubin described things such as warts. He says the warts aren't following the rules: they do not know when to stop growing and so you have a wart. Cancer also breaks the rule that allow cells to cooperate with one another. Cancer behave in their own interest, and until they kill their host, they won't leave.
