Chapter 2: Getting A Grip

When I began reading chapter 2, it started to become more and more interesting. When Shubin talked about the the event of dissecting a human being, I was kind of disgusted a bit in my head, but then as I read on it got more and more interesting, I enjoyed looking at the picture of one bone, two bones, then the little blobs. It amazed me when Shubin found the transitional fish that had the human-like wrists and it also had the fish-like fins. I wondered if humans had any fish like qualities. I became interested to learn more about how creatures have changed throughout the period of time. Im really looking forward in reading the next chapter, to see how humans are connected to more animals.
