This chapter was more interesting, even though it was harder to understand with all the details of the different fish discovered. In the beginning of the chapter, I got confused because I thought he was going to elaborate on his discovery, but instead he talked about all the other scientists and their discoveries. But in the end, those descriptions showed how Tiktaalik had the exact bone structure he was looking for. And those diagrams of the different limbs of different creatures, including us, was interesting because it shows how closely related our limbs are to simpler creatures. When he connected the environment that the fish lived in and the adaptations it had to make with the fact that it had a wrist was interesting too. It's wrist allowed it to be able to live in the mudflats as well, and I thought it was cool how its bones reflected that. I gained new insight through this chapter. (:
