Ch2: Getting a Grip
I found the beginning of the chapter to be very interesting because it told his experience in great detail and also transitioned into the main point of the chapter. This chapter was a bit more "science-y" than the first chapter, but i was still able to follow along and it kept my interest. There were a lot more ancient fish names to remember and also the people who were associated with them, making it a little confusing. I had to flip back several times to remember why that certain fish was important. Thankfully, there were more diagrams that helped explain the parts of the fish and the differences between them more clearly. When the chapter began talking about Tiktaalik, most likely because I was now familiar with it, I got into the book more. It was amazing to read more about the similarities that humans have with it and how we are so unique from the other species. It was nice to get to read about how there's so much going on inside our body, even in small areas like our hands.
