Chapter 2: Getting a Grip

When I started to read Chapter 2, I was very excited to read more about what Shubin had to say. But as I started reading, I was horrified with how he described human dissection but interested at the same time. I was astonished when I learned how our skeletal system was similar to animals that lived a long time ago and I liked how the diagram showed the similarities in the arm; it helped me understand it more clearly. this diagram helped me see how we are connected in some way to animals that lived long ago. The more I read, the more I believe the theory of evolution and i hope as I keep reading my mind doesn't change.
