Chapter 2: Getting A Grip

So this chapter was about how every animal has the same design for their arm/hand. From my own personal observations before reading this chapter, I always knew that we had similar designs compared to other creatures. By reading this chapter, it just made my observations concrete. Since, creatures had similar arm/hand designs, I put this to the test. I went outside to my backyard and went to see my dog. I put my arm/hand directly next to his to see if I can compare the differences and similarities. As the chapter pointed out, we had a lot of similarities and minor differences. Even though there were differences in length in the bone that connects to our hand/paw it still came resembled the same design. Same with our hand/paw, even though there was a slight different shape and different placements of digits, they resembled each other. Me and my dog got a grip and I learned we're not so different after all.
