Chapter 2: Getting a Grip

This chapter in general, wasn't much appealing to me than it has been in chapter one. In the beginning of this chapter, I felt as if Shubin was jumping back from one topic to another and was extremely excessive when he talked about the other anatomists' journey and their expeditions. Because of this, I wasn't reading this chapter with much excitement and enthusiasm because I somewhat lost interest as I read the first few pages. However, in the last couple of pages, I found the reading of Tiktaalik's fin doubtlessly extraordinary how its joint surfaces were well maintained. For example, it holds a shoulder, elbow, and wrist as in a wrist of the characteristic of people.
Overall, this chapter is devoted to specific aspects and fossils that demonstrates a stable advancement and progression from the dependable fins to a genuine of one bone, two bones, lotsa blobs.
