Chapter 3:Handy Genes
This chapter that allowed us to learn about genes and was truly exciting. I have learned through this book of how complicated and important DNA is. Every part of our body, from little tiny cells and to organs contains our DNA. Th experiments Edgar Zwilling and John Sanders did on chicken eggs was so interesting as well. thoses "two little patches of tissue" really are important. The ZPA also plays an important part for the "pinky side to be different from the thumb." I also learned that the "Sonic Hedgehog" has a very unique role in the limbs. I learned many new interesting facts and I'm looking forward to the rest!
