Chapter 4:Teeth Everywhere

Through this chapter I learned that teethe contain a lot of important information. I read in a little article before of how paleontologist really depend on teeth because its long lasting and best preserved, but i never knew that it would help paleontologists about the animal's eating habits and how feeding came about. His joke here and there were amusing and it made it more interesting to read this chapter. Also the dedication he puts into his fossil digging is truly respectable. To have a job of a paleontologist is very very hard. I never realized how important some pieces of bones can be. It was interesting to learn how they preserved these fossils and soft tissues. Also when the author mentioned the theme of the chapters,"how can we trace the same organ in different creatures", gave me an overall summary of why the author was talking about teeth. I wonder what the next chapter will be like !
