Chapter One

Before I started reading this book, I got a glimpse of several posts that others wrote. So I could vaguely assume what this book would deal with and what were the general ideas about the preface of this book. The public opinion was that this "Your inner Fish" was unexpectedly intriguing which contadicts thier negative bias towards scientific books. Also, no matter whether they believe in evolutionism or not, they thought it was interesting subject and they were eager to appericiate its further development. Honestly, I was quite doubtful of their optimistic remarks becuase I already knew what other scientific books are like. Hoping I could empathize with the majority, I began this book. It was descriptive, not just filled with abstruse informations, and definitely different that any other books. I am well aware of that it won't sound creative anymore but it did draw my full attention while I was reading it. I liked that Shubin explained lots of intricate informations in a straightforward way. Since I have not been inclined to read scientific books, I think it is a good opportunity to encounter a fresh genre.
